Our History

In 2004, McKenna Storer celebrated its 50th Anniversary.  Our firm had its beginning as the Law Offices of Wyatt Jacobs in 1954 with offices at 33 North LaSalle Street in Chicago.  In 1960 the name of the firm was changed to Jacobs and McKenna. In 1975, it became known as McKenna, Storer, Rowe, White & Farrug. With the firm's reputation well-established, the name was shortened to the familiar "McKenna Storer" in 2002, at the time its offices returned to a newly-renovated 33 North LaSalle Street.

We serve local, national and international clients from our offices in the Chicago, Illinois metropolitan area. We seek understanding and insight into our clients' needs. We assign one or more attorneys to handle each matter, depending upon the complexity of the matter and the client's needs. Knowledgeable Advocates
The law changes on a daily basis. Effective representation of any client requires a vigilant program of continuing legal education. McKenna Storer is committed to continuing legal education for its attorneys, both within and outside of the firm. The firm has a fifty-year tradition of in-house training sessons for all attorneys, from the senior partners to the newest associates. At these sessions, individual cases and recent legal developments are discussed. Outside speakers are invited to address specific current legal and practice topics. In addition, outside seminars and educational programs are encouraged as a part of every attorney's continuing education. Our commitment is to take all steps necessary to insure that our attorneys are current, knowledgeable, and equipped to be effective advocates.
