Insurance Coverage Litigation
Our insurance practice group provides a broad range of services to our insurance company clients. These services include providing coverage opinions, assisting in the drafting of policy wording and litigating coverage issues in state and federal court. We act as national coverage counsel for a transportation insurer which writes a package policy for most of its insureds and therefore presents us with the opportunity to address coverage issues involving general liability, truckers liability, cargo and property coverages on a national basis. Our coverage litigation experience is mainly centered in the state and federal courts of Illinois. However, because of our role as national coverage counsel we have worked on coverage litigation with attorneys from a number of other states, including Arizona, California, Florida, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Utah.
