James A. Cook is an associate attorney at McKenna Storer with a focus on insurance defense, professional liability and commercial litigation. James is a driven litigator who has achieved successful results for his clients.
Prior to joining McKenna Storer, James practiced family law and served as a research staff attorney at the Illinois Appellate Court. At McKenna, James practices toxic tort litigation and assists with automotive accident cases. Additionally, he is involved in federal litigation of intellectual property issues, as well as the Fair Credit Reporting Act. James also represented clients in personal injury, small claims, real property, claims for injunctive relief, and actions for fraud and breach of contract.
James lives in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, where he enjoys running along the lakefront, reading books and articles, and going to restaurants with friends. When not in Chicago, James can be found visiting his family in the northwest Chicago suburbs.
