McKenna Storer is pleased to announce the appointment of their newest partner, Alexander Sweis. An outstanding trial attorney, Alexander is known for his precision and thorough preparation. His clients value his hard work, dedication, and accessibility. Alexander has been with the firm since 2011. His practice focuses on a broad spectrum of areas including insurance defense, professional liability, and business services. His experience also includes asbestos litigation and commercial litigation involving deceptive trade practices.
Alexander has chaired 13 jury trials and represented clients in more than 100 arbitrations in Cook County and the collar counties. He manages all aspects of litigation from pre-suit negotiations through jury verdict. Two of his verdicts were singled out for publication in the Cook County Jury Verdict Reporter. Alexander has handled over 100 major injury and wrongful death defense cases.

Alexander is a certified Cook County Arbitrator. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, and Claims Litigation Management. He was named an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star 2017-2019.
Alexander received his Juris Doctor in 2009 from The John Marshall Law School. He graduated Cum Laude and received the John Marshall Order of the Coif distinction – graduating in the top 12% of class. He is admitted to practice in Illinois –USDC – Northern District of Illinois.
